Community
During COVID I joined Greener Together as a Community Coordinator - an incredibly inspiring community-led project addressing environmental inequality in Stratford, E15. With support from Hubbub, Ten Years' Time, Afterparti, and the Mayor of London, we set up community meetings which led to the creation of community gardens and gardening clubs, the installation of an air quality monitor, and culminated in the redesign of the Alma Street Community Play Areas.
Education
As an educator and facilitator I have worked in a wide variety of settings, including running musical sessions for residents at the Hackney Night Shelter and unaccompanied child refugees at Play for Progress. I have also led early years workshops for Sinfonia Smith Square at the Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, as well as schools workshops with the London Sinfonietta and East London Music Group, and sectionals for Chromatica’s Orchestrate scheme and In Harmony Lambeth. I have taught students of all ages and abilities, both privately and in schools, one-to-one and in groups.
